The UN700D1M two-platen injection molding machine demonstrates a thick-wall lens molding solution on site. This solution utilizes dual injection units to achieve six-station one-shot molding technology, enabling a maximum product thickness of 19.5mm while ensuring optical clarity. Additionally, the cycle time has been reduced from the 300 seconds to approximately 60 seconds, increasing production efficiency by about 80%. The process employs a four-axis robot for part removal, followed by laser gate-cutting operations and visual inspection to detect defects and assess gate-cutting quality. Qualified products are then packed and boxed. The machine’s fixed platen side is equipped with an automatic water and electrical plug-in system, enabling rapid mold changes.
